What is the capacity of the battery?
The rear derailleur is 800mAh and the front derailleur is 500mAh, which can realize 20,000 shifts. Usually, for a professional rider who rides 200km per day, the battery can last about 10 days after a single charge; for an average rider who rides 20km per day, the battery can last more than a month after a single charge, depending on the frequency of shifting and other conditions of use.
What type of hose, needle, and olive are compatible with the EDS system?
Regarding the type of hose, needle and olive, we recommend that you purchase Shimano's BH-90 type.
What are the password rules required for app registration?

How to do the initial calibration?
(For EDS TX series)
1. Please note, do not perform the initial calibration when the rear derailleur is not in the smallest cassette. Incorrect actions may cause the rear derailleur to become jammed or other issues.
2. Set the front derailleur to the largest sprocket.
3. Set the rear derailleur to the smallest cog position.
4. Open the WHEELTOP App and select Initial Calibration.
5. Use the "<" or ">" buttons to adjust the RD pulley position until it aligns with the smallest cog.
6. Exit the initial calibration page.
(For EDS GeX and OX series)
1. Please note, do not perform the initial calibration when the rear derailleur is not in the smallest cassette. Incorrect actions may cause the rear derailleur to become jammed or other issues.
2. Set the rear derailleur to the smallest cog position.
3. Open the WHEELTOP App and select Initial Calibration.
4. Use the "<" or ">" buttons to adjust the RD pulley position until it aligns with the smallest cog.
5. Exit the initial calibration page.
How to confirm that the APP is connected and the device is paired after receiving the device?
Method 1:
If the left and right hand shifters (speed levers) can control the front or rear derailleur normally (such as smooth speed change and timely response), it means that the device has been paired successfully and there is no need to rely on the APP interface to confirm.
Method 2 (APP interface verification):
Open the APP, the power of the front and rear derailleurs are displayed normally, and the hand shifter does not display 0.0v.
How does the rear derailleur linkage function work when the front derailleur is on the large chainring, the rear derailleur is below the 3rd gear, and the limit function is enabled?
When the front derailleur is on the large chainring, the rear derailleur is below the 3rd gear, and the limit function is enabled, the system operates as follows:
Rear Derailleur Upshift: When you press the front derailleur to shift, the system will first execute an upshift on the rear derailleur. The rear derailleur will upshift once every 0.5 seconds.
Rear Derailleur Reaches 3rd Gear: The rear derailleur will continue to upshift until it reaches the 3rd gear.
Front Derailleur Downshift: Once the rear derailleur reaches the 3rd gear, the system will wait for 2 seconds before executing a downshift on the front derailleur.
The actual position of the rear derailleur gear is inconsistent with the position displayed on the APP, causing the rear derailleur to fail to shift correctly
Go to the initial calibration page of the APP, select the rear derailleur, the page is divided into two parts, the upper part is for initial calibration, with two arrow-shaped horizontal triangles, which are used to debug the device. The lower part is used to shift gears. Now all you need to do is debug in the upper part. Please click the arrow on the right side of the upper part ((▶️)), keep pressing until the RD moves back to the smallest cassette.
Is it equipped with a rear derailleur clutch function?
OX2.0 and GeX are equipped with a rear derailleur clutch function.
Can EDS be paired with bike computer?
Yes, EDS TX, OX2.0 and GeX can be paired with bike computers.
The device cannot be changed immediately after not riding for a long time.
It is not unusual for the gear system to take a moment to activate after being idle for a few days. However, there are a couple of things you can try to speed up the process:
1.Charge the System: Please ensure that the system has enough battery. Sometimes, if the battery is low, it may take a little longer to activate. Try charging the system for a while and see if that helps.
2.Shake the Frame: Gently shake the frame or move the bike to help "wake up" the rear derailleur. This can help the system become responsive more quickly.
After pressing the shifter lever, the rear derailleur does not shift normally.
1.Check the button indicator light: First, check if the button on the shifter is lighting up. If there is no light, please replace the battery and test again.
2.Check the light color: If the button is lit but not green (e.g., red or yellow), it means the device is not paired correctly. In this case, please follow the pairing instructions in the manual to pair the device again.
Rear derailleur hook compatibility description
Only applicable to non-direct mount hooks, partially compatible with UDH hooks.
Non-Direct Mount Compatibility:
The WHEELTOP rear derailleur is only compatible with non-direct-mount derailleur hangers. Using a direct-mount hanger could lead to improper alignment and affect performance.
UDH Compatibility:
The WHEELTOP rear derailleur is partially compatible with Universal Derailleur Hangers (UDH). However, its performance may vary depending on the specific bike frame design. Certain frames might require adjustments or may present limitations for optimal performance.
To ensure proper compatibility with your bike frame:
If your bike uses a non-direct-mount derailleur hanger, it should work without issue.
If your bike uses a UDH, please check if the frame design allows smooth operation of the WHEELTOP derailleur. If necessary, adjustments may be required.
If you encounter any compatibility issues or need further assistance, we recommend reaching out to the bike manufacturer or contacting our support team. We are happy to assist you with additional guidance or recommendations to ensure your setup works optimally.
The front derailleur cannot be fine-tuned with screws, and want to use the APP to debug
Please provide us with your app account details (your registered email or mobile phone number) so we can grant you the necessary permissions.
For EDS OX, is it possible to install a double chainring with this rear derailleur?
Unfortunately, due to its direct mount structure, the rear derailleur is only compatible with a single chainring system.
